Senior Power Systems Engineer

£35k- £45k (+ 6% Pension Allowance)

A capable individual is required to join a small team of electronics engineers in the design and production of spacecraft power subsystems. Principle responsibilities include; general technical management, project/work package management, circuit design, hardware testing, writing technical documents. An intimate understanding of spacecraft power systems is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelors degree in Electronics. Equivalent demonstration of ability to this level through experience may also be considered.

Knowledge & Skills:

The candidate must demonstrate:
> Significant previous exposure to spacecraft power systems engineering.
> Excellent understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
> Excellent inter-personal skills - both written and oral communications; ability to interface with customer and technical representatives.
> Highly organised.
> Ability to work under pressure.
> Flexible & adaptable to changing priorities.
> A willingness to travel occasionally to international destinations.
