Craig Clark, CEO and Founder of Clyde Space, has been invited on to the UK Space Leadership Council. The newly created Space Leadership Council was formed by the current Science Minister, Lord Drayson, as part of the UK Government's commitment to supporting the ambitions of the UK space industry.
The Space Leadership Council has been created to provide the UK Government and the new UK Space Agency strategic advice on the future plans and opportunities for growth in the space sector. The council consists of representatives from industry, academia, research councils and government.
Craig Clark says, ' I am delighted to be invited on to the Space Leadership Council and aim to use the opportunity to push the agenda for stimulating innovation and supporting ambitious business ideas in emerging space markets. Space is a global market, with massive export opportunities, and the UK has a fantastic opportunity to achieve its potential as a major player in the international space arena.'
