ISIS UHF/VHF ground station with 38k4 RX option

With its small satellite communication ground stations ISIS offers a solution that is specifically designed for small satellites in Low Earth Orbit using radio amateur frequencies, such as CubeSats for use in university environments.

The ISIS ground station is derived from the proven set up of the ground station of Delft University of Technology, which has been successfully used to provide support during small satellite missions and is the designated command ground station for the Delfi-C3 satellite mission. ISIS can provide a compact version of this ground station that contains everything a small ground station needs.

• UHF, VHF, S-band ground station with steerable antenna

The ground station is capable of providing UHF/VHF/ S-band (downlink only) communications with satellites in Low Earth Orbit and can autonomously track selected satellites by using a steerable antenna system.

• Compact setup

The ground station equipment (except the antenna system) is fitted into a single 12-U 19" rack which allows the ground station to fit in almost any location.

• Remote Operations

It is possible to configure and control the ground station remotely through the internet.

• Complete ground station solution

The ISIS ground station kit provides you with a complete solution if you are looking for a means to start communicating with Low-Earth Orbit satellites.

• Educational value

A small ground station also provides an opportunity to provide hands-on educational projects with a focus on telecommunications on technical schools and Universities.

• GENSO Compatibility

The ISIS ground station kit has been designed to be compatible with the Global Educational Network for Satellite Operations (GENSO) initiative.

A 38k4 FSK TNC offers you high downlink data rate capability (e.g. for downloading high payload data volumes, images etc.)
